Dramatic Smoky Mountain Waterfall Wedding
Tennessee Wedding
Check out this dramatic Smoky Mountain waterfall wedding. One of the most beautiful locations I have ever set eyes on, the Great Smoky National Park is an amazing place. It is full of breathtaking landscapes and sights that you have to see in person to understand and fully appreciate its beauty. Alexis and Stephen chose to have their ceremony at the Mountain top venue, Hearthside at the Preserve located in Wears Valley. The location is just minutes from the entrance to the National Park. Alexis and Stephen are my second Tennessee wedding couple since moving to Knoxville. They were very adventurous and willing to do whatever it took to get some amazing images. After the ceremony, we decided to hike 2.6 miles on the Laurel Falls Trail. We ended up at the 80 ft waterfall to take some photos at Laurel Falls. It was quite the hike, especially when we were pressed for time and getting around a very crowded trail.
I think the results turned out amazing and I am so fortunate to have couples that appreciate my work and want to explore and create some fantastic images that will last a lifetime. It is their adventurous spirit and enthusiasm that keeps my creative juices flowing. The capped off their wedding day with an amazing wedding reception at the Lily Barn in Townsend, Tennessee. I hope to be back in the Smoky Mountains soon to photograph another wedding at this beautiful location. here is a look at their wedding day. Congratulations to Alexis and Stephen, I wish you both the best!
